The tour will start in the Square of San Giovanni Laterano then enter the Basilica the old seat of the bishop of Rome and ends in the St. Peter’s square.
The tour will proceed by going to the Holy Stairs on which according to the Roman Catholic tradition, the Holy Stairs the steps/stairs leading up to the praetorium of Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem on which Jesus Christ stepped on his way to trial during his Passion.
TYou will then visit the Franciscan main church in Rome of St. Anthony of Padua, Church of St. Alphonsus de Liguori founder of the Redemptorist order where you can see here the 15th century old Icon of the Mother of Perpetual Help. then going to the very old Basilica of Santa Prassede - the first early Christians who were persecuted used to hide here in this actual basilica. Next, you will proceed heading to one of the major papal basilicas, the St. Mary Major Basilica, following church is the Chiesa di Gesù- mother house church of the Jesuits, then the Church of Sant’Andrea del Valle.
