Itinerary

We begin outside the basilica with the whole building in view, so the story of the project makes sense from the start: Gaudí took over in 1883 and spent the rest of his life on it, knowing he would not see it finished. Models and photographs help us read what stands today and what still belongs to the plan.

Full Description
La Sagrada Família is the one building in Barcelona where the visit changes every year, and on this private tour we read it as a work in progress rather than a finished monument. We start outside, with the whole church in view, so the story of Gaudí's project makes sense before we take a single step inside.
The Nativity Façade is the part Gaudí saw completed, and it carries the birth of Jesus in an explosion of carved stone. We look at the portals of Faith, Hope, and Charity, then at the animals, plants, and ordinary working people set among the holy figures, details most visitors walk past.
Inside, the tone changes: the nave rises on columns that branch like trees, the ceiling rests on a forest of stone, and the stained-glass windows move color across the space as the sun shifts. We walk slowly, following the geometry that carries the load, the altar and its suspended baldachin, and the light that Gaudí planned as part of the architecture rather than as decoration.
The Passion Façade closes the story in a deliberately different language, angular and almost bare, with the scenes carved by Josep Maria Subirachs. Then we finish in the Sagrada Família Museum, among plaster models, hanging chains used to calculate arches, and the workshop fragments that still guide the teams building the church today, with a last stop at the small school Gaudí designed for the children of the workers.
The visit lasts between two and four hours and stays private, so we keep the pace of the group and give room for questions, photographs, and the details that interest guests most. Entrance tickets are included; food and drinks are not, and pickup from the hotel is available at an extra cost.
